Earls Court 6 Player Croquet Set Review

Earls Court 6 Player Croquet Setwell worth every penny.very good quality especially for the cost.my parents have a set from brookstone, which was ruined after one play.i looked around forever before buying this and i would highly recommend this set.one difference in the picture is that instead of the natural colored ball, i received a pink ball.i actually liked that better.shipping quotes were way off.i was quoted something like 2-4 weeks, but i received it within 1 week.

Product Description:
Croquet was introduced at the St Louis Olympic Games in 1904 as an Olympic sport. The EC6 set is different from our other sets because it has less expensive components. It is clearly better than the sets available in the warehouse or big box stores, but it is not of the same quality as our London Green or Scotland Yard sets. It comes with everything necessary for an official 6-wicket tournament game or the more familiar 9-wicket backyard game. Set includes 6 laminated solid wood mallets with 32 inch handles wrapped with towel wrapped grips. The 6 biaxially milled 12 ounce wooden croquet balls are lighter than tournament balls in our other sets. Wickets (9) are fashioned from 1/4 inch powdercoated solid steel rod, much thicker than coat hanger wire. The 2 wooden stakes are used in the nine wicket game to establish the finish and turning points. The set comes with the rules for both a 6 and 9 wicket game. The canvas bag holds everything and has handles and a shoulder strap for storage and carrying. Hand made in India.

St. Pierre American Professional Series Horseshoes Set Review

St. Pierre American Professional Series Horseshoes SetIf you're looking for a decent set of horseshoes for the backyard without dropping a lot of clams, this is the set for you.Notice I said decent - I previously owned the entry level [$$] department store set and recently upgraded. These shoes really grab onto the stake like a sailor hugging his girlfriend after a 6 month Med cruise and they retain a lot of ringers that would have otherwise flown off. If you play horseshoes on a regular basis or if you just want a professional set for the outback, go with these, they're worth the few extra dollars.Another plus is that if you want to enter any tournaments, these shoes are approved by the National Horseshoe Pitching Assoc.
