I ordered this staff to use in Filipino Martial Arts practice.I initially ordered a 60 inch staff but received a 72 inch staff.I decided to keep it as it was still suitable for what I needed. The staff itself is somewhat flimsy considering how thick it is in diameter. It appears to be skinless rattan that has a lot of flex.I will use it primarily to practice angles of defense/attack and staff handling skills but I will not use it for contact practice/sparring due to the flex.Click Here to see more reviews about: Rattan Tiger Pattern
