I used this light for about 6 months in the Caribbean.I only have positive things to say about it.The two intensity settings are useful for conserving battery power.It's rugged and it's bright.No leaks.There are some newer contenders out there that will outshine this one (on paper and in the wallet), but I haven't tried 'em yet.Still, this light has been dependable for me AND for the fair-weathered dive buddies I've lent it to.So it's gonna to stay with me for now.

#2400PLC StealthLite Pelican Flashlight w Photoluminsecent Shroud Review

I carry this light and a center strip of LED's on my helmet and more often use the pelican over the LEDs. The photoluminescent shroud makes it easier for my crew to spot me, and the switch is easy to find and operate with gloves on. Although I haven't used this light in IDLH situations, I have good confidence it will perform as advertised. This light is well worth the price.
