FLA Professional Wrist Splint with Abducted Thumb Review

So, I've got this "DeQuervain's Tenosynovitis" thing, this pain where my thumb bones meet my wrist (sorry for the strange mixture of tech talk and ignoramus-speak).Came from picking up my baby a lot and carrying him around with a curved hand/wrist position, trying to multi-task doing various things with my other arm.

I've discovered that the pain is much worse in the morning because the arm/hand will lie any which way while I'm asleep.That's why for this problem doctors tend to recommend a wrist brace worn ONLY AT NIGHT, and Aleve twice a day to help with the pain.

So, I shopped around and agonized over my choice, and got this one.It rules.First night I wore it, the next morning my pain was a good 50% less.I lost it for a couple of months and got a replacement cheap-o brace and it sucked, in fact, the morning pain was just as bad as if I hadn't worn any brace.It seems the "abducted thumb" is super important.

But I found this one again and the pain is again reduced.It will never fully go away unless I stop carrying the darn baby and multi-tasking.That may be difficult.But this brace helps a lot, at least.
